CCHS-CBSE ESTABLISHMENT:

CBSE section was started in 2004 with a vision to Excel in Education. It got affiliated to New Delhi for class I-X on 1st April 2011.

ACADEMICS:
Education encompasses both imparting and acquisition of knowledge, conduct and technical competency. The academic environment at Carmel Provides abundant opportunities for self exploration and talent display of each student. Thus we focus to foster self motivated and independent learners who are capable of achieving success beyond the school environment.

Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is a laudable step on the part of CBSE. To implement it in true sense proper planning was done in the beginning of the academic year. As per the new scheme of CBSE, We follow the Semester system. The First semester begin from April to September, and the Second semester from October to March. After every semester the Toppers are awarded with the Scholar Badge

MORNING ASSEMBLY:
Morning assembly in all the phases of schooling is an elevating experience that makes a positive contribution to a child’s self development. It is educative, informative, interactive and discursive Students uses this occasion as a plat form to build their public – speaking skills and to show case their talents

WORKSHOP:
Work shops are invigorating sessions for teachers to develop new strategies of teaching methodologies. These workshops help teachers to achieve an integrated approach to education and provide new methodologies in curriculum teaching.

FIELD TRIPS:
Field trips take book learning beyond the class room and extend it to life. High school students were taken to Singareni Coalminers for a field trip.
