Awareness Program to Teachers:

Enrichment program for staff and students was organized in our school on June, 09th and 10th, 2017 by two eminent personalities Mr. Sunny Philip and Rev. Fr. Sebastian Abraham about Capacity Building Program on Classroom Management. During these sessions every teacher was elated to know how to handle large classrooms and students besides that how to manage the time during the class.

Awareness Program to Class X students:

There was a special training to class X students and their parents for 2 days to conscientize them on contemporary problems like social media and controlling their senses to improve their personality.

Awareness to Parents:

There was an awareness programme held on June 2017 for class X parents in our school by Mr M.L. Manohar. During this session he suggested many tips to parents how to be with them as they are entering adolescent age.

Blessing Of New Wing of School:

We are blessed with a new wing of upper primary school. This wing was inaugurated on 11th June, 2017 by our Rev. Fr. Jobish CMI. We feel happy because God blessed us to extend our service to some more students in our locality.

Re-opening day:

Our school moves ahead with various hopes and different challenges in this new academic year, with its well eminent teachers, around 1000 challenging students and supporting staff.

The day started with an opening prayer session and wonderful motivational speech by our Rev. Fr. Kurian. It helped the students to gather self confidence in them and to begin afresh with new enthusiasm.

We have mock democratic system of elections and electing cabinet members to be aware of our Indian constitution. Our School Cabinet elections were held on 10th July, 2017 to choose President, Vice-President Sports secretary and General secretary. On 22nd July, 2017 our school cabinet team took their oath to serve the school as best as they can.

Parent Teacher Interaction:

The school has organized a Parent-teacher meeting on 8th July, 22nd July and 05th Aug, 2017 for the classes I A, I B followed by Class II B in school at 4.00 pm. The main purpose of meeting was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the students’ educational experiences and discuss various issues, regarding all round development of students.

The meeting was organized under guidance and presidentship of our beloved Principal Sr. Jyothis. Teachers and parents along with their children attended the meeting.

Cancer Fund Raising Campaign:

In the month of June 2017 Mr Prashant and Mr Anurag Awasthi representing “Caring Souls Foundation”, Ahmedabad approached school and sought help in raising funds to help people who are suffering from cancer all around India and allotted the fund collection duties to all children. From 3rd class to 10th class all the teachers acted as mentors to children and could raise a good amount of 1,61,000 rupees. Caring Souls Foundation awarded the children with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

In this campaigning about 531 students participated from our school and 160 students received Gold medals 48 students received Silver medals, 16 students received Bronze medals and 256 certificates of appreciation are distributed.

Carmel Day:

Carmel Day was celebrated on July 16, 2017 with much devotion and affection. It was an unwritten registry at everyone’s heart, where the students exhibited outstanding performances of contextual skits, mime action, speech and songs to make it as a memorable day.

The International Yoga Day:

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2017 to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success in every ones soul. This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day. Children got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. The students of classes VI – X with Mr. Sampath Kumar (Yoga Teacher) performed Yoga during the assembly . Different yoga asanas like Vrikshasana, Uttaanaasana, Trikonaasana, Bhadrasana, Shashankaasana, Bhujangasana, Pawana Muktaasana, finally ended with Pranayama and meditation.

Prayers were recited before and after the programme. Heartfelt thanks to our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi for giving an opportunity for schools to celebrate the International Yoga Day. The school is also thankful to CBSE for initiating this under them and also for inculcating Yoga as a part of the syllabus.

Independence Day:

Nothing is more precious than Independence and liberty — Ho Chi Minh

So, as above quote says nothing is more precious. We have celebrated 71st Independence Day in a devotional and patriotic fervor. A chief guest, District Sports Secretary (Mancherial) was invited and Mother presence made everyone to feel in joy. The national flag was hoisted by District Sports Secretary followed by patriotic slogans and a few cultural programs like patriotic songs, speeches, patriotic dance performances and displayed unique pyramids that added glory to this celebration.

Teacher’s Day:

Teaching profession is the aristocratic profession in the world which creates all other professions. As a token of gratitude to the teachers this year the celebrations were held on 5th September 2017. This day started with a morning prayer in the remembrance of the universal Guru Jesus Christ. Later the assembly was dedicated to teachers. All the teachers actively participated and lead the assembly then students gave inspirational speeches and expressed their love through gifts.

Special congratulations to Ashritha Manaswini of Class IX for the inspiring book ‘The Creation of God’ released by our beloved Principal Sr. Jyothis and gifted to all the teachers.

Self governance was organized by Class X students as well as expressed their love through a surprising audio visual show of all teachers which made everyone happy. Teachers were provided a delicious lunch by the school.
